This past weekend, Vancouver celebrated the annual Festival Harikud, an Israeli Dance festival wherein 18 different dance groups performed at the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver.
My son was among the participants in the show, representing Richmond Jewish Day School. The kids had a blast and the performances were well attended.
Now in its fifth year, the program draws Israeli dance groups from all over the Lower Mainland of BC, and this year’s show featured performers from Winnipeg, too.
