Legends of the Israel Basketball Association will hoop it up in Toronto as they square off against the York Region Police team for a good cause.

Such greats as Tal Brody, Micki Berkovich and Nadav Henefeld will be amongst the cadre of former Israeli stars who will be on court to raise funds for the Jewish-Arab David Lewis Soccer and Educational Center in Jaffa, Israel.

As a member of the Maccabi Tel Aviv team, Brody was part of 10 domestic championships and six cups. Berkovich is recognized as one of the best players in Israeli history and in addition to winning numerous trophies with Maccabi Tel Aviv, he led Israel to a European Championship. Henefeld was a marquee player with the University of Connecticut in the 1990s.

Ryerson University will host the charity game on September 15 from 7- 9 p.m.
